Landlord wins praise for its homeless help

HOUSING TRUST SCORES HIGH IN TENANT SATISFACTION SURVEY

HUNDREDS of people who would otherwise be homeless have given the landlord of their accommodation a glowing report in a national survey.

Derventio Housing Trust provides accommodation to about 1,200 people in the UK who would otherwise be sleeping rough. It houses some 150 people in Staffordshire.

Leaders at the trust, which is currently providing housing to 150 people in Staffordshire, said they are delighted that hundreds of residents responded positively to the national Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey, the results of which have just been published.

Derventio scored well above the national average in the survey, which is now mandatory for all providers of social housing in the UK as part of Government reform measures following the Grenfell fire disaster.
