'I'm honoured to move into this new role'

A BURTON-based holiday company has announced the appointment of a new general manager.

Sharon Bradbury has taken on the role for Solmar Villas following the death of the company’s former managing director, Julie Blake, below, earlier this year.

Sharon joined Solmar in March 2023 having started her commercial career in travel with Crystal ski.

Over the next seven years her career evolved within the TUI specialist division, before moving to a role with Hidden Croatia and subsequently marketing positions in the finance sector and as a consultant.

“I'm honoured to step into this new role,” she said. “Throughout my career I've had the privilege of working for some exceptional companies, but my time at Solmar has been the most rewarding.
