JOLEON LESCOTT never thought ex-Everton teammate Mikel Arteta would become a manager.
The Spaniard began his coaching career under Pep Guardiola (inset) at Manchester City and took the leap in 2019 when he was appointed Arsenal boss.
He has guided them to a hat-trick of second-place Premier League finishes and an FA Cup in six years at the Emirates. But Lescott, who played more than 100 times with Arteta at Goodison Park, never saw this managerial side.
