SAVE SOME OF YOUR VALENTINE'S DAY AFFECTIONS FOR THESE FANTASTIC FEBRUARY RELEASES
JUST as it was about to outstay its welcome, January ended and we've started a new month.
Not only does February bring Valentine’s Day and all things lovey-dovey, but it means slightly longer nights, with the sky staying light until nearly 6pm.
It's not just the day of romance that will get pulses racing this month, there’s also a smattering of new titles arriving for us to fall in love with.
The newest addition to the Nioh series arrives this week, bringing with it dark samurai action, then a week later, there’s spooky delights in the shape of Reanimal. At the end of the month the highly anticipated Resident Evil Requiem arrives, promising terrifyingly good fun.
Nioh 3 (PEGI 18)
Platform: PS5, PC
Release: February 6
It’s been nine years since the first Nioh game landed as an exclusive on the PS4.
Arriving amid a glut of Dark Souls wannabes, its setting and deliciously brutal combat made it stand out from the rest.
A sequel arrived just as Covid hit in March 2020, and now a third chapter of the story begins.
This dark RPG now allows you to fight in both Samurai and Ninja styles as you take on yokai - supernatural entities and spirits in Japanese folklore - in a bid to attain the role of Shogun.
NINJA WARRIOR: Nioh 3
