Defender impresses to sign on for Rovers

GRESLEY Rovers' latest recruit is a defender, Abayomi Lowery, who has relocated to the area from Manchester.

He was a surprise package for manager Andy Gray after asking if he could join in with training and has quickly impressed.
"Another new signing for us - to be honest, Yomi came to training and I had little to no previous knowledge of his footballing CV," said Gray.
