TOWN CENTRE RESURFACING SCHEMES ARE COSTING £600K

A MAJOR project to resurface two key Burton town centre junctions is nearing completion.

Costing around £600,000, the project at the junction of Union Street, Orchard Street and New Street remains on track to complete on Friday, August 8.

Works also include the New Street traffic island, along with the High Street and Manor Drive approaches.

Crews will continue working under overnight closures until Friday, August 8 to resurface the junctions with minimal disruption to the community.
