Blackburn visit to start tough league run before Christmas for Crofters

HARRY Titley says the run-up to Christmas should define the Crofters’ season as they return to action in Regional 1 North West tomorrow.

They are at home to Blackburn (3pm) after last weekend's break in the schedule and on a five-game unbeaten run.

Tomorrow's game is the first of five before Christmas and the third-placed Crofters are keen to maintain the pressure at the top.

“The lads have had a good week off and they needed it because I know we've got a solid run of games now building up to Christmas,” said Crofters director of rugby Titley.

“Although it might not sound busy, in the world of rugby with five weeks on the bounce, you are bound to pick up injuries and things like that.
