Aspiring dancers urged to join new production to fight climate change

UTTOXETER residents have the opportunity to be part of an “exciting new dance production” which is tackling climate change.
The town hall is set to host a powerful new show, called ‘Fault Lines,’ by leading contemporary dance company Lîla Dance on Saturday, May 17.
People living in the town have a chance to learn choreography and join the performance as part of a new community cast.
Over two evenings - Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13 - participants will learn, create and perform alongside professional dancers in Fault Lines.
The show is described as “a timely, visually stunning dance theatre piece exploring our broken relationship with nature, resilience after environmental collapse and the hope found in community action.
