JUST four points separate the top three sides chasing the one promotion place from WEPL's Bristol & North Somerset division after another afternoon of drama.

Bristol West Indian Phoenix began the day in third but ended it in pole position following an 85-run victory away to fellow high-flyers Brislington, who are now third.

Twyford House, who were top, find themselves second with two rounds of games to go after succumbing by 92 runs at Knowle.

BWIP grabbed the initiative with an 85-run success, with James Pearson hitting 59 and Rushabh Yadav unbeaten on 58 before three wickets apiece from skipper Ashur Morrison, Mike Jones and Neiland Cadogan wrapped up the points.

Twyford, meanwhile, folded to a 92-run reverse as Andrew Rasemene (4-36) and Jai Kumar (3-13) made inroads.

Next up for BWIP (246) is a trip to mid-table Frenchay, while Twyford (243) are away to Brislington (242).
