Voices of those legally adjacent are evident and action is needed
Bristol Post
|August 11, 2025
HERE are two recent Bristol Post reports, in which the first paragraphs have led me to reflect on the total inability/ ineptitude of either the Avon and Somerset Police (A&SP) or Bristol City Council (BCC).
-
Both lack any remote concepts of the law and order I remember before the absurd creation of Avon County Council on, very appropriately, April Fools' Day 1974.
The first was headed:"E-motorbike pursuit: Masked yobs chase man, 62, after confrontation" (August 1). Its lead paragraph stated: "A man has described a terrifying encounter on the Downs which saw him threatened and chased by two masked yobs on e-motorbikes."
