Struber: We have to do better in next transfer window
Bristol Post
|September 12, 2025
BRISTOL City were “not lucky” in the final two days of the summer transfer window, Gerhard Struber has explained, with the Robins boss of the opinion that he and his side need to do better when January rolls around.
City ended the summer having made three permanent and two loan additions to their ranks. City moved quickly to acquire the permanent signatures of Adam Randell, Joe Lumley and Emil Riis, secured the services of Radek Vitek on loan in July and Neto Borges made the temporary switch to Ashton Gate from Middlesbrough on the penultimate day of the window. While that business has left the Robins with strength and depth in the majority of positions, they remain slightly short of options at the top end of the pitch.
