Rawcliffe appointed chief executive officer with the Robins

BRISTOL City have confirmed the appointment of Tom Rawcliffe as their new chief executive officer, with the Robins’ CEO taking on a different role at the Robins High Performance Centre this summer.
Rawcliffe, pictured, joined the leadership team at Ashton Gate in 2021 as head of finance before becoming the club's finance director in January 2023. Following the departure of Phil Alexander as chief executive in September 2023, he stepped up to combine his existing role with that of chief operating officer.
City have been operating without a CEO since Alexander left Ashton Gate almost two years ago. The former Crystal Palace chief had replaced the popular Richard Gould, who is now the CEO of the England and Wales Cricket Board, but remained in post for just eight months.
Since then, Brian Tinnion has overseen footballing decisions on the men’s side of the club in his role as technical director, alongside the head coach, Rawcliffe, Jon Lansdown and Gavin Marshall. Now, Rawcliffe will lead the day-to-day running of the club.
