PORTISHEAD

- Mark EASTERBROOK

Town staged a storming second-half comeback to beat Larkhall Athletic 4-2 and remain top of Southern League Division One South.Mid-table Larks led 2-0 at the break after Kieran Phillips scored on 18 minutes and again in the 43rd minute.

However, Lucas Vowles pulled a goal back on 52 minutes, and Ollie Woodhouse provided a 66th-minute equaliser. Vowles put Posset ahead in the 73rd minute, and completed his hat-trick six minutes later.

Kye Mountford’s side stayed one point ahead of closest challengers Frome Town, who have one game in hand.

Bristol Manor Farm continue to pull further away from the relega-

tion places, with Will Justin’s team in 13th place following a 2-1 victory against Bashley at The Creek.

Two great strikes won the game for Farm. Mal Nicholls found the top corner of the net with a 30-yarder in the 28th minute. A couple of minutes later, Abdoulie Tunkara made it 2-0 with a low 25-yard effort. George Britton reduced the arrears for Bashley deep into stoppage-time.
