High-speed cars and copters combine

TWO of the fastest vehicles on the planet - one on land, one in the air - will come face to face next month at a special transport event in Somerset.

On Saturday, May 24, The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare will host a meeting between the world’s fastest helicopter, the G-Lynx, and the Vampire Jet Car, which holds a land speed record.

The high-octane display will be part of the Clevedon Cars and Copters event, a collaboration between the museum and the Clevedon Cars and Coffee group.
