VOTING is due to close soon as the Post and sister website Bristol Live concludes the search for the city's Pub of the Year. We have received hundreds of votes so far in the race to crown the city’s best boozer.

There has been fierce competition amongst the venues which made it through to our reader-nominated shortlist of Bristol's 50 best pubs. Now, the time has come to decide which venue takes our top spot.

The shortlist has demonstrated why Bristol’s pub scene is worth celebrating. The list is a truly diverse group of venues, from beloved community institutions to new kids on the block; from boozers which put on raucous gig nights to cosy spots to settle in for a roast with the family.
