DISCOVER A NEW GALAXY WITHOUT ANYONE GETTING A SNEAK PEEK
AS time wears on, it's getting harder and harder for phone-makers to come up with anything new for their traditional handsets.
An upgraded processor, a better camera and a nicer screen are all givens. Even Al advancements fail to turn heads much these days.
That's why it's nice to see something genuinely new from one of the big-hitters this week - Samsung launched its flagship S26 series of phones with a fairly minor innovation which is certainly neat and useful. A “Privacy Display”.
Now we all use our phones in almost every situation we find ourselves in - both public and private. But we all also must have had the uncomfortable feeling that whoever is next to us might be giving our screen the side-eye and clocking what we're up to.
Which is unwelcome at best, and potentially dangerous at worst.
Samsung's new Privacy Screen aims to combat this by making the screen unviewable from the side, and only clear to whoever is face-on to the screen.
