Festive birthday 'I wouldn't be here if not for cancer centre'

A BRISTOL man with terminal cancer will mark a milestone Christmas Day birthday tomorrow.
Former military armed forces, rugby referee and NHS paramedic Andrew Gibson was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in April 2020 and given just two years to live.
Andrew, from Chipping Sodbury, said: "I took my health for granted.
Even when I started to feel the odd twinge, stiffness and pain it was put down to leading a highly active lifestyle - something I now know was a big missed opportunity, which has cost me dearly.
