Darts Taylor forfeits PDC tour card after failed drugs test

DOM Taylor has forfeited his Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour card following a second unsuccessful drugs test.
The 27-year-old has also been deprived of his World Darts Championship prize money and barred from all PDC competitions.
The Bristol darts player, pictured, was suspended from the championships after the Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) received notification of an "adverse analytical finding" following his 3-0 victory over Oskar Lukasiak in the opening round.
Consequently, he was removed from the tournament and prevented from facing quarter-finalist Jonny Clayton, and will now forfeit the entire £25,000 prize money.
This caused him to drop in the order of merit and slip outside the top 64, which secures a one-year tour card.
Taylor had previously endured a one-month suspension in 2025 after an unsuccessful drugs test at the Players Championship Finals. His penalty was shortened from two years after he accepted a UKAD-approved three-month Substance of Abuse treatment programme.
