Clarke expecting 'busy day' of transfer business on Monday

DARRELL Clarke has admitted he expects Bristol Rovers to have a busy deadline day on Monday as the Gas look to finalise their summer recruitment.

It has been another hectic window in north Bristol with 10 new players signed at the time of writing, while 19 players have departed on a permanent basis since the end of last season. Two of those players were Connor Taylor and Kofi Shaw, who were sold to Wycombe Wanderers and Brighton and Hove Albion, respectively. Additionally, goalkeeper Jed Ward has gone out on loan to Yeovil Town.

The loan capture of centre-back Kacper Lopata from Barnsley two weeks ago was the Gas’ latest addition and Clarke is hopeful the club still have business to do concerning both incomings and outgoings.
