A new verse in musical instrument store's history

A 122-year-old independent shop selling musical instruments in Stokes Croft is moving out for three years while its home of more than a century is replaced. Family-run Mickleburgh Musical Instruments will be moving into a new shop in Clifton, believed to be near to The Triangle at the top of Park Street, for the duration of the rebuild.

The shop, which is home to all sorts of musical instruments - including pianos that can weight up to around half a tonne - will be moving out in a few weeks time, after having picked up the keys to its new place.
