Owerhede span saam teen misdaad tydens feesseisoen

SPANNE van die Heritage Protection Group (HPG) saam met verskeie rolspelers was bedrywig met die bekamping van misdaad oor die feesseisoen.
Op 15 Desember was HPG vroegoggend uitgeroep na 'n inbraak op die Constantiapad buite Mookgophong. Hendrik Hattingh van HPG het bevestig dat die booswigte 'n venster gebreek en die diefwering oopgebuig het om toegang tot die eiendom te verkry.
"Die verdagtes het die huisinhoud omgekeer asook 'n kluis oopgesny en die wapens verwyder. Van die vloerborde is ook uitgebreek, en dit blyk of hulle na nog 'n kluis gesoek het," sê Hattingh en voeg by dat die spore van die verdagtes gevolg is tot by die stoor waar die spore verlore geraak het weens die reën. "'n Hommeltuig is gebruik om te kyk of die verdagtes nog op die plaas is, maar sonder sukses en 'n saak is geopen by Mookgophong polisie."
