Although last week was certainly a quiet one for Wesham Road Runners, there were a few efforts in events a little more distant.

Wesham Road Runners' Jamie Houghton ran the Chester Marathon
Sunday was the day for the Chester Marathon and Metric Marathon.
Tanya Shaw ran the latter, completing the 26.2km in 2:52.05 to finish 689th overall.
Jamie Houghton made his marathon debut in the imperial distance, running 3:10.56 for 414th place.
