George Honeyman has outlined his pride in being given the Blackpool captain's armband, writes AMOS WYNN.
The 30-year-old led out the team for the first time in Tuesday's Carabao Cup loss to Port Vale, taking over from Lee Evans.
James Husband remains club captain but, in his injury absence, the summer arrival from Millwall will hold the role on a matchday.
