New entires top the charts for most popular names in resort for last year

The most popular names for babies born in Blackpool last year have been revealed.

Amelia was the most common girl's name in the area, with 19 babies given that name in 2024.

This marks a change from the previous year, when Ivy ranked first and was given to nine babies.

Meanwhile, Jack was the most common boy's name in Blackpool, with 20 babies given the name last year.
