Clues revealed about resort's massive pendulum swing ride

Blackpool's Pleasure Beach Resort has dropped its first big hint about what adrenalin junkies can expect from its new £8.72m ride Aviktas when it opens next year.

The family-owned theme park has released a video teasing a potential theme and storyline for Aviktas which will be the tallest ride of its kind in the United Kingdom when it is built.

The video shows diggers at the construction site uncovering an unusual golden egg in the sand.

The footage shows that the eggh has cracked, suggesting something has recently hatched.

The cracked egg is then inspected by puzzled archaeologists in the short film.
