Christmas lights debut for South Shore residents

A South Shore street is set to host its first-ever Community Christmas Light Switch-On with an afternoon of free family entertainment, live music and a visit from Santa.
Music will come from Blackpool Brass Band, performing traditional carols
The event takes place on Saturday outside 21 Waterloo Road with activities starting at 3.30pm and the lights being switched on at 4.30pm.
Businesses along the road have joined forces to create the new seasonal celebration, which aims to bring neighbours, families and visitors together at the start of the festive period.
As well as the big switch-on moment, there will be a packed programme of activities throughout the afternoon.
