Caretaker boss enjoys first taste of touchline

JAMES Morrison says he enjoyed his first experience on the first-team touchline as Albion’s caretaker manager but rued his side’s lack of a cutting edge and ability to turn their goalless draw against Cardiff into all three points.

The Baggies huffed and puffed at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday but ultimately came up short and had to settle for a share of the spoils with the Bluebirds, who were relegated to League One as a result.

It leaves Albion in tenth place, now mathematically unable to make the Championship play-offs, ahead of their final game of the season at The Hawthorns on Saturday lunchtime when they host another lowly side, Luton.
