The Baggies are eyeing a solid end to the first midweek round of Championship fixtures having drawn with Leicester and won at Norwich.

The Lions suffered a chastening 4-0 defeat to high-flying Coventry at The Den on Wednesday night and will be aiming to atone back on home soil.

“By the time we arrive Saturday, they (the players) need to be in the right headspace and physically ready to go and compete because you need to compete in this league, at this level, every single game,” said Mason.

“There’s such a demand from a physical point of view, so we've got to make sure we're ready.
