|September 26, 2025
THE world’s biggest gaming festival is coming to Britain for the first time -and it'll be in Birmingham.
DreamHack is described as the ‘Glastonbury of gaming’ and brings together gaming communities in a celebration of games, esports and internet pop culture.
For three days in 2026, from March 27 until March 29, fans will come together to play tournaments, cosplay, enjoy live music, interact with creators and play tabletop games in a space designed for the community.
As part of the festival, ESL One will be held in the UK for the fourth time, with 16 of the world’s best Dota 2 teams competing for a $1m prize pool. Dota 2 is an online, free-toplay multiplayer battle game with fans around the world.
