Trust which oversees 24 schools set to axe staff

A TRUST responsible for 24 schools across the region is making a number of staff redundant after hitting financial difficulties.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP), which takes its name from a Sutton Coldfield comprehensive and is responsible for schools in Sutton, Birmingham, Lichfield, Curdworth, Coleshill, Tamworth and Coventry, has written to parents.

The chair of ATLP, John Vickers, told them: "I am writing to share some important news around some proposed staffing changes.

"The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is currently consulting with staff regarding voluntary redundancy and early resignation programmes.
