TRIO TRIED TO CON 85-YEAR-OLD OUT OF SAVINGS

- ANNABAL BAGDI News Reporter

Three care home bosses forged pensioner's will

CARE home bosses who plotted to get hold of a pensioner's £175,000 fortune by 'forging' her last will and testament have been convicted by jurors.

Owners Graham Walker and Lyn Walker, along with manager Jamiel Slaney-Summers, 'financially abused' 85-year-old Rita Barnsley (pictured right) while she was at Amberley Care Home, in Brierley Hill.

They penned Ms Barnsley's 'sham' will in 'different coloured pens' and used 'different writing.

The 'vulnerable' victim's will named Lyn Walker and Jamiel Slaney-Summers as executors.

Staff at the care home were also left £5,000 despite a policy in place which prohibited employees from receiving gifts from any of the elderly and vulnerable people they were caring for.
