AN ice cream man will be giving away free scoops this week in Birmingham, but the cones will be rather unconventional.

Instead of traditional ice cream flavours such as vanilla and strawberry, the truck will be giving away seafood scoops, with mackerel, tuna and taramasalata options.
It'll be parked up on Rotunda Square on Thursday, near the Bullring's famous bull.
