Results are the best way to win over fans, vows Ryan
Birmingham Mail
|November 26, 2025
RYAN Mason is not concerned about external pressure as he prepares his West Brom side for tonight's encounter with West Midlands rivals Birmingham City.
There is no denying that the Baggies boss is under pressure to start delivering more positive results, with his side sitting 17th in the Championship on a run of just two wins in the last eight league games.
Their opponents tonight are in better form, having won three out of their last four games, including a 4-1 home victory over Norwich City last time out.
Mason knows the best way to get fans on his side is results, and one in a game of this significance would do him a lot of good.
He said: “There's always noise in football. The noise we want to generate is in here, inside the building. We believe in what we're doing, and we trust what we're doing. The noise and the connection you want to feel is with the fans. I've always said the best way to do that is by results. The way I speak to the fans needs to be through results, especially in our own stadium.
