A RESTAURANT hailed by diners as one of the best Japanese spots in Birmingham has closed after the company went into liquidation.

Koi Ki opened at the Clock Tower inside a converted Victorian school building In Harborne High Street in 2023 and quickly attracted rave reviews for its impressive sushi platters and lively atmosphere.
However, customers with tables booked in the upcoming weeks were surprised to learn that the restaurant had shut down in April, prompting reservations to be cancelled.
