ALMOST 200 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN JUST TWO MONTHS

A POLICE force said its officers work around the clock every single day to build cases against perpetrators linked to committing violence against women and girls as it vowed to gain justice for victims.
Almost 200 suspects were arrested on suspicion of Violence against Women and girls (VAWG) offences in just two months, Staffordshire Police said. It revealed that 117 people were held in May, with 26 charged. While another 70 suspects were arrested last month.
It follows White Ribbon Day yesterday, Tuesday, November 25 - a campaign which aims to end the brutality inflicted on women and girls by males.
