Mum's health worries were the key to TV star's 11 stone weight loss

ALISON Hammond shared the secret to her staggering 11 stone weight loss that was triggered by health concerns.
At her heaviest, This Morning star Alison tipped the scales at 28 stone.
But the turning point came after her late mother Maria, who herself had type 2 diabetes, expressed worries over Alison's diagnosis as pre-diabetic.
Following the death of her mother from type 2 diabetes-related complications in 2020, Alison knew it was time for change. She has since teamed up with a personal trainer and is conscious about her food choices.
In an interview with Heat Magazine, the Brummie TV queen said: “I feel amazing. I feel happy within myself.
