More play than gig, Lily was totally line-perfect
Birmingham Mail
|March 07, 2026
IT might only be the beginning of March, but Birmingham may have just witnessed its best show of the year.
The enviously cool Lily Allen rose to even higher heights of 'chicness' last year when her hit album West End Girl dropped - spilling all the secrets from her marriage and bitter breakup with Stranger Things actor David Harbour.
And if an album full of anger seemed like the perfect revenge at the time, it's just got even better with this tour.
In full on glamour mode, Lily appeared to rapturous applause at Birmingham's Symphony Hall with her shiny hair high and her Louboutin red soled heels even higher.
This special show is more like a play than a gig, in the best way.
