MARC Leonard hasn't given up hope of forcing his way into the Blues picture, despite Tommy Doyle's arrival putting another obstacle in his path.
Talented midfielder Leonard was a bit-part player in League One last season, thanks to the brilliance of Tomoki Iwata and Paik Seung-ho - a partnership expected to continue in the Championship.
The signing of Wolves midfielder Doyle on loan makes life more difficult for Leonard and there has been some chatter about a potential exit for a player who signed a four-year contract 12 months ago.
Leonard showed he is willing to fight for his place with a strong performance in the second half of Blues’ 3-1 win over Sevilla in Portugal on Saturday night.
