MANHUNT AS WOMAN ALSO INJURED ON ONE OF CITY'S BUSIEST ROADS

A MAJOR manhunt was under way last night after a man died and a woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Birmingham yesterday.
The victim in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were struck by a Vauxhall Corsa outside Pak Supermarket on Soho Road in Handsworth at around 11.20am.
Emergency services gave advanced life support but the man was declared dead on the scene.
The second victim remained in hospital with leg injuries. The man's family was being supported by speciallytrained officers.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The Corsa was found nearby.
