Man faces murder charge as tributes paid to victim, 34

A WOMAN who died after being stabbed in the neck in Birmingham city centre has been named as a man appeared in court accused of her murder.
Djeison Rafael appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court yesterday accused of murdering Katie Fox, 34, who was stabbed on Smallbrook Queensway shortly before 9pm on Friday.
Katie suffered a serious injury to her neck along Smallbrook Queensway, shortly before 9pm, on Friday.
She was rushed to hospital where she later tragically died.
Tributes have flooded in for Katie with many saying her death is "heartbreaking". Cathy Crossley, from Arts All Over The Place, (AAOTP), posted on Facebook: "Tragic news today that Katie Fox, partner of Gary Morris died after being stabbed on Friday evening in Birmingham.
