A FORMER Birmingham police station is to be transformed into new luxury homes.

Spitfire Homes intends to develop Harborne Police Station on Rose Road into townhouses and apartments.
The site was once used as a divisional headquarters but closed in October 2023.
West Midlands Police said it had to save £28 million in 2023/24 and £21 million in the next financial year.
