Live music venture calls it a day after rising costs

A LIVE music venue in Birmingham has blamed business rates and running costs for its decision to close.

The team behind The 5:15 club in Stirchley said they would be shutting at the end of the month due to the economic climate.
The canalside venue, off Lifford Lane, replaced the Roadhouse, which closed in 2017, saying it would “proudly bring live music back to the area”.
