WITH dramatic lines and a bold presence on the road it's hard to miss Kia's latest all-electric model the EV3.

Kia's quirky, quick, quite spacious and comfortable

It's tempting to say there's nothing else like it on the road but, of course there is: it's bigger brother the equally dramatic and unusually angular Kia EV9.

But while the seven-seater EV9 is the leviathan of the Kia range the EV3 is the company's new compact SUV aimed at families needing a more conventional sized car.

Despite that, this tall newcomer offers an impressive amount of interior space, with generous headroom and plenty of legroom for rear seat passengers who will also appreciate the wide opening rear doors.

And with a claimed range of up to 375 miles on a full charge and very lively acceleration of just 7.7 seconds to reach 62mph from rest it's a car which is very easy to live with.

Flush fitting exterior front door handles which pop out when you press them, disguised rear door handles giving a coupe-like look and a stylish rear window spoiler all add to the car's distinctive look.
