Hit-and-run driver is jailed for three years

MAN DROVE OVER VICTIM AND DRAGGED HIM SEVERAL FEET UP THE ROAD
A HIT-and-run motorist who drove over a man after the victim had tried to exchange details about an earlier crash has been jailed for three years.
Richard Perrin was behind the wheel of a white Toyota when it was in collision with another car at the junction of Bills Lane and Shakespeare Drive, in Shirley, before driving off.
Perrin, 58, of Whittle Road, Solihull, admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Birmingham Crown Court.
He was sent to prison for three years, disqualified from driving for four and a half years and must pass a re-test to get his licence back.
