Gang duped victims of £100k in Rolex scam

TWO men who duped victims into selling expensive items but never paid for them have been jailed.

Ghazanfar Khan was the driving force behind the £100,000 scheme, Birmingham Crown Court heard.

Accomplice Kulwarn Chagger posed as a banker on the phone to reassure customers that payments were being made. He also paid in cheques which later bounced.

Around a dozen victims - many targeted on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree - were duped, some losing thousands of pounds worth of goods.

Khan and Chagger admitted conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to possess an article for use in fraud.
