Fake doc harmed children carrying out circumcisions

A FAKE doctor performed “unsafe and illegal” circumcisions on babies and children across the UK.
Unqualified Mohammed Alazawi pretended to be a medical practitioner, leaving victims with lasting harm including infections and other complications.
The 54-year-old was finally convicted this week after his crimes were laid bare by a seven-year police probe - which all began with a shocking case in Birmingham.
He was convicted of 20 offences and admitted a further 20 including multiple counts of fraud, wounding with intent, administering and supplying prescription-only medicines, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
