FUTURE OF SPORTS CLUB THREATENED AS PROJECT FAILS TO MOVE ON
Highgate United Football Club in Tythe Barn Lane, Dickens Heath
A RENEWED call has been made for a controversial planning application to be withdrawn as there are concerns it could threaten the future of vital sports facilities in a Solihull village.
The application is for 450 homes by developer Richborough Estates’ in Tilehouse Lane, Dickens Heath.
It was originally submitted in December 2023, but various objections were submitted including from Dickens Heath Parish Council and Tidbury Green Parish Council.
The application would also see the demolition of the existing sports facilities on site.
