BLUES’ summer transfer window ended with the addition of two promotion winners in Patrick Roberts and Jack Robinson.
Roberts, 28, has joined on loan from Sunderland a few short months after helping the Black Cats win promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
Robinson, 32, arrives from Sheffield United having been on the losing side in that playoff final in May.
Their signings round off a busy summer transfer window for Blues and give manager Chris Davies another option out wide and defensive cover.
Blues were already relatively well-stocked in wide areas with Demarai Gray, Keshi Anderson and Lewis Koumas jostling for position on the left and Willum Willumsson and Kanya Fujimoto suited to the role on the right, but Roberts will provide Davies with a more proven option.
Ambitious owners Knighthead have backed their manager for the second successive summer and created a squad they believe can challenge in the Championship.
