City council to sell off yet more properties

CASH-STRAPPED Birmingham City Council is selling four further assets at auction soon.
It includes land that the local authority currently rents out as a car park and for an electricity substation.
The land in Yardley will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe's next auction, including a former community centre in Washwood Heath, a former therapy/healing centre in Kings Heath and land and premises currently utilised for educational purposes in Selly Oak.
The sub station plot of nearly half an acre is on the corner at Speedwell Road and Redhill Road, in Yardley, will have a guide price of £190,000 - plus in Bond Wolfe's auction, from 8.30am, on Thursday, September 11.
