Boy threatened and 'slashed' in violent e-bike robbery

A TEENAGE boy was threatened with a knife and 'slashed' in a violent e-bike robbery in Solihull.

The victim suffered a slash wound to his arm as he was targeted by two people near the ice rink on Hobs Moat Road, Solihull.

His electric off-road bike was stolen during the incident at around 3pm on Saturday, March 7.

He was taken to hospital for his injuries, while police arrested a 17-year-old boy. Armed police, uniformed officers and an ambulance were spotted outside the shops, Tesco and Planet Ice following the trouble.
